Our Story

The Beginning

Truth Seekers Bible Study & Fellowship began on February 10, 2022, when a small group gathered in prayer to form an independent online Bible study. United by a desire to know and live by the truth of God’s Word, the group committed to humility, mutual respect, and shared accountability. From the start, the fellowship decided to utilize lay leadership and remain unaffiliated with any church or denomination.

Inspired by John 8:32  “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” the name Truth Seekers Bible Study & Fellowship was prayerfully adopted.

Growth Through the Word

The Bible study officially launched on April 21, 2022, with about twelve members. Its foundational scripture, Psalm 25:5, continues to reflect the heart and mission of the fellowship.

As God blessed the ministry, participation grew to approximately twenty members. The group followed a structured study of Scripture, beginning with the Gospel of John, and followed by the books of Acts and Romans. Meetings emphasized discussion-based learning, shared leadership, and volunteer facilitation, with all sessions led by laypersons.

The Call to Plant a Church

In July 2023, the original members sensed a clear calling from God to plant a Christ-centered church rooted in biblical truth. A core team—Deacon Earl Green, Deacon Hillard Lee, Deacon Liz Dickson, Mary Anyaehie, Adamma Anyaehie-Griffith, and RobinRenay Mack—committed themselves to prayer, monthly planning, and faithful obedience despite limited resources. On February 21, 2024 Truth Seekers Fellowship Church was officially established and incorporated in the state of Delaware.

Spiritual Guidance

During the early stages of the church-planting journey, the team received prayer, counsel, and encouragement from Reverend  Eddie Richards and Reverend Glenda Wilson. Their guidance helped affirm the vision and strengthen the ministry’s spiritual foundation.

On May 19, 2024, a special prayer meeting was held at a public park in Newark, Delaware. This meeting focused on corporate prayer, evangelism, unity, and intercession for the surrounding community.

A New Beginning

On December 7, 2025Truth Seekers Fellowship Church held its initial service at 6 North Clifton Avenue, Wilmington, DelawareReverend Brandon Primeaux of Temple of Prayer Church in Chester, Pennsylvania, delivered the message “Starting Anew,” marking a significant milestone in the life of the ministry.

A decision was made to worship every second and fourth Sunday of each month beginning in January 2026.

Truth Seekers Fellowship Church stands as a testimony to God’s faithfulness—showing how obedience, commitment to truth, and trust in God’s guidance can transform a small Bible study into a growing, Christ-centered church dedicated to serving its community.

Through we are still early in our journey, we know that God is writing a story far greater than we can imagine. And we believe, with all our hearts, that as we continue to allow God to use us, the best is yet to come!
